84. Isaac Hall Sr

Revolutionary War

Isaac Hall and his "brother, Captain Samuel Hall, served in the American Revolution, and both died in Hancock County, GA ..." according to Elizabeth Wiley Smith in the History of Hancock County.

WFT Vol. 17, #878: Isaac Hall, Sr. was born 1765 and died 1806 in Hancock Co., GA. He was a Revolutionary War soldier (Georgia's Roster of the Revolution by Knight: Isaac Hall, pp. 334, 416-441). Isaac Hall, some say, was born about 1750 in Maryland and first went to NC, then to McIntosh Co., then to Hancock Co., GA where he died and his estate was administered. (See Ordinary's Minutes, 1817-1837, p. 70, Hancock Co., GA).

An Isaac Hall appears to have been in Hancock Co., GA and in Montgomery Co. in 1802 according to the 1805 Georgia Land Lottery.

GA. bef sep 1788, killed by indians Jane MNU Pinkerton/ Pinkleton/ Pinkston married Edward Hunter. on the 10 Dec 1823 The undivided distrubuted share of Thomas M. Bonner, it being the 1/7 part of the late widow Hunter's real property, is sold at Sheriffs Sale to William R. Hunter to satisfy suit by Jeptha Jackson, Hancock Co. Deed Book.
